Competition for work in Jordan is often viewed as a cause of tension between refugee and host communities, but the crisis response could provide Syrian and Jordanian women the opportunity to come together as business partners rather than competitors. This paper reviews the current situation, presents results from interviews and focus group discussions, and makes recommendations for the Government of Jordan, donors and aid agencies.
