Practicing What We Preach? A Review of Learning & Research Utilization

As organizations like Mercy Corps increase the quality and quantity of research and evaluations, we need to invest equally in understanding how to make sure that the lessons and recommendations are incorporated into the DNA of the organization as well as future programs. We recently produced a report that looks at the current state of practice at Mercy Corps as well as some of our peer organizations and provides a framework of recommendations to improve. We are making this available for others who are interested in better applying research and evaluation findings to their programs.
