Save the Children Policy Brief: Our Recommendations to the Design of The International Financing Facility for Education (IFFEd)

The proposal to establish an International Financing for Education (IFFEd) has the potential of contributing significantly towards financing Sustainable Development Goal 4 in low and middle income countries (LMICs) and fulfilling the world’s promise of leaving no-one behind in education. This brief presents Save the Children’s recommendations to how the IFFEd can fulfil its potential. The following are our key recommendations for eligibility criteria for IFFEd support: equity, effective and efficient development finance, debt sustainability, and governance.
